Raffi Art - Super Sport Race 1
Sep 2003

www.AutoAesthetics.com is the home of a TT enthusiast with a difference.
Raffi Ghazarian is a jeweller by trade but as he also owns a TT and has put his skills to producing a vast variety of TT inspired jewellery, also some the most fantastic and funky shift knobs badges and plates you can get.

Too little is thought about what you are paying for and if you step back and look into it you will see that this is fantastic value for money.

I can not explain or photograph how good this mod is and can only thoroughly recommend it as it adds a new dimension to the TT which brings on a new TT grin and level of enjoyment when you are driving....it is a superb mod...you will love it.

What do you use 99% of the time in you car? the steering wheel, the pedals and the gear knob!
You touch and move the shifter all the time and forget it as a working part of the car and simply take it for granted.

I have seen Raffi's site before but was put off by price until I saw a picture in someone's car and could see that it looked fantastic but there was something else that attracted me to it.

I had a look on his site and liked the grip of one design and the shaft of another, a few emails and calls to Raffi to discuss this custom design.
He needed a little push to get rolling and began building the first cut of this new design.

The end result is stunning......
I liked my Forge knob which was good but the new one is awesome!

I moved from this to..................................................this!

You can find these on his site as the Super Sport Race 1 & 2,

A piece of Raffi Art is more that an additional personalisation mod...

I have been driving around with a new grin whenever changing gears and
my hand is resting on the shifter because it is nice to hold, you just want to hold it, you feel you have to hold it. :o)

The TT is all about Touch, Texture and Design, this is the perfect compliment.

GET ONE, you will regret not having got one sooner!

The packaging and components, even a tool was supplied.

The fit is easy, starting with your current gear knob, unscrew it.
If you have a later all alloy shifter, then you will need to undo the 8 bolts on the ring first.
Undo the 8 bolts on the aluminium ring and lift the ring, shifter base and rubber gaiter.

Pics of the inside for your information.

Take the opportunity to clean out the gaiter and replace the shifter base tube with the supplied base piece and fat shaft column
Notice the height difference.

Refit the base and ring plate, screw on the new shifter and when tight, push fit in the indicator plate on the top.

I also got one of these, a Turbo 2 badge, the quality is fantastic.
